To what end?

To improve an organisation by drawing conclusions that create added value, stimulate thought and promote action in order to reach a quantifiable goal and achieve a certified recognition of quality. This recognition, classified with 2, 3, 4 or 5 stars according to the number of points obtained, provides independent confirmation of the level of management excellence in an organisation.

What does it involve?

The EFQM Excellence Model considers the concept of management in the broadest sense. It offers a detailed analysis of the organisation based on nine criteria: leadership, strategy, people, partnerships & resources, processes, customer results, people results, society results and business results. Performing this assessment systematically and periodically will help a company to identify, prioritise, plan and implement necessary improvements, and then go back and reassess these areas using the same model. This is done using the RADAR logic, an acronym for the following concepts: results, approaches, deploy, assess and refine.
